Another Hezbollah Commander Falls Due to Israeli Attacks, the Lebanese Group Responds

Mohamed Niamah Nasser is the third high command of the group that has died at the hands of Israel since the beginning of hostilities and the second in the last three weeks.

On Wednesday, Mohamed Niamah Nasser, commander of the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah, was killed during an Israeli bombardment against southern Lebanon, which led the group to launch an escalation against northern Israel.

Nasser was the leader of the Aziz Unit of the armed formation, allegedly one of the two most important in charge of the border strip with Israel where the crossfire started last October is concentrated.

The commander, known as ‘Hajj Abu Niamah’, was killed on Wednesday by the bombing of an Israeli drone against the vehicle traveling through the southern area of Al Housh, near the city of Tyre, according to information from the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN).

This is the third high command of the group that has died at the hands of Israel since the beginning of hostilities and the second in the last three weeks.

As part of Hezbollah’s response, the Lebanese group launched a hundred ‘Katyusha’ type rockets at the headquarters of “Golani 210 Division Command at Nafah Headquarters and the anti-aircraft and anti-missile defence headquarters at Kela Headquarters”, assured the resistance in a statement.

On the other hand, the Shiite group announced another attack with Iranian-made Falaq shells, this time against other Israeli Army installations in Kiryat Shmona, also in the northern Jewish state.

Also, in the middle of the afternoon, the Kela barracks was again the target of a second launch of “dozens” of ‘Katyusha’ rockets, while about six minutes later high caliber ‘Burkan’ missiles hit the Zarit barracks”, the fourth action of the day in response to the bombing of Al Housh.
